What Is the Cycle to Work Scheme?

Cycle to Work is a government-backed salary sacrifice programme designed to encourage sustainable commuting. Your employer buys the bike and accessories on your behalf, and you repay the cost in monthly instalments from your gross salary — before tax and National Insurance are deducted.

This means you pay less tax, reducing the total cost of the bike significantly. Schemes usually run for 12 to 36 months.

Eligible Engwe E-Bikes

Only road-legal electric bikes are eligible for Cycle to Work. These models meet UK regulations for assisted pedalling (no throttle (or restricted to 6km/h), 250W max power, and speed capped at 15.5mph).

How to Apply

1. Pick Your Bike & Accessories
   Determine which scheme your employer is enrolled in, or encourage them to join one. We can assist with this.
   
2. Get Your Quote
   Let us know your chosen bike and any accessories from our selection, and we will give you a written quote.
   
3. Send Us Your Voucher (most schemes)
   Request your e-certificate for the total cost (also called a voucher or letter of collection). Once you have it, send the certificate to us to place your order. Some schemes do not require a letter of collection - in this case we reach out when the scheme confirms your order and we ship the bike to you directly.
