I am 59 and have just returned from my first proper ride. I am based in Cumbria and wanted a crank drive motor for all the hills.
The bike comes well equipped with front suspension forks (700c), hydraulic disc brakes, Shimano gears, and 90Nm torque. The upright riding position is comfortable and easy on the back (I suffer from chronic back pain) and I found the saddle surprisingly comfortable.
I felt like I had considerably more help on the hills with respect to my last ebike (rear hub),

Now I have been riding this bike for awhile, I can honestly say it is the second worst bike I have purchased. When people say it is good value, yes, if value equates to weight, this is a winner, a dead weight. No saddle release, battery lag, lacklustre brakes, a modern equivalent of a penny farthing, try lugging this bike over fences, or even changing the tyre, too heavy, I mean really heavy, on the plus side no one will pinch it, not worth the effort. I am selling mine, I don't think anyone will fall for this, again?

I am 93 now and normal cycling is a bit much but now I have my Viking the effort is no longer needed.This is a stunning looking work of art with technology that matches it's looks.When I say no effort needed I really mean just that, one turn of the pedals and the bike kicks in and away you go.I recommend this e.bike to anyone seeking freedom to roam.

I bought the Vester because I needed help getting up the hills on my commute but still wanted to be able to fold it e.g. for weekend trips in the campervan. Great for getting out and about and enjoying the countryside. Thumb's up from me👍
Bike rides really nice and the motor got so much torque that I can go up hills I never thought I could. Lighter than my last ebike , suspension soaks up bumps well.
Great bike, rides really well. Feels solid. Handles the red trails at Cannock Chase well. Motor gives a nice boost once it kicks in. Very happy with the whole experience - recommended.
