The Basis Dorchester Step-Through City Hybrid is designed for versatility, capable of handling a variety of terrains with ease.

Neatly concealed within the 14.5″ frame’s downtube lies a semi-integrated 10.4Ah or 14Ah battery (featuring LG or Samsung cells), offering a range of up to 25 miles. This powers the 250W brushless rear hub motor, reaching assisted speeds of up to 15.5mph. Assistance levels can be adjusted via the handlebar-mounted display to suit the terrain or gradient.

To enhance convenience and adaptability, Basis has equipped the Dorchester with a Shimano 6-speed gearing system. The 24″ alloy wheels and front suspension forks follow a hybrid design, smoothing out bumps and ensuring a comfortable, confident ride whatever the road ahead.
