Dawes Spire 1.0 Low Step Electric Hybrid Bike 250W

The Dawes Spire 1.0 Low Step electric bike features a low step frame with an integrated 360Wh battery, offering over 40 miles (64 km) of assisted pedalling. Powered by a Bafang rear hub motor, known for its reliability and performance, the bike delivers 32Nm of torque, making uphill climbs and flat terrain easy to navigate. The Samsung battery is designed for safety and convenience, passing stringent UK and EU tests, and can be charged on or off the bike within 5 hours. It also includes an integrated lock for added security.

The bike's intuitive computer system offers five power assist modes and displays essential ride information, such as battery level, speed, and distance. Additionally, the walk-assist mode helps push the bike up steep inclines when not riding. The Spire 1.0 is equipped with an 8-speed Shimano Altus gearing system and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes for reliable control in various riding conditions. A 70mm suspension fork with hydraulic lockout and an adjustable stem ensure a comfortable and smooth ride across different terrains.

Designed with rider comfort and safety in mind, the Spire 1.0 includes a Selle Royal Freeway saddle, ergonomic grips, and Kenda tyres with puncture protection and reflective detailing. The bike comes fully equipped with front and rear LED lights powered by the battery, a rear pannier rack, mudguards, and a kickstand, making it ideal for commuting and leisurely rides alike.

Dawes electric bikes typically arrive in 2-3 working days of your order date for the 85% assembled models. For this delivery option, the bike is mostly built but the front wheel and brakes/gears will need to be adjusted.

Our Dawes fully assembled electric models take a little longer, typically delivered in 3-6 working days dependant on how busy we are.

Recommended Rider Heights:

Small: 5'0" to 5'6" (152cm to 168cm)

Medium: 5'6" to 5'11" (168cm to 181cm)

Every Dawes bike we supply includes a manufacturer's warranty valid for the original owner, with coverage as follows:

• 5 Years: All rigid steel and titanium frames and forks.
• 3 Years: All rigid alloy frames and forks.
• 1 Year: Suspension frames/forks, paintwork and decals, carbon fibre frames/forks, original parts, suspension components, electrical components, and branded components.

Branded components such as SR Suntour, Rockshox, Shimano, and Avid are covered by their respective manufacturer’s warranty.

The warranty excludes normal wear and tear, improper assembly or maintenance, installation of incompatible parts, damage from accidents or misuse, and labour or transport costs for replacements. Proof of purchase and product registration are required to make a claim, and the warranty is only valid for the original owner from the date of purchase.
