The Emu Fat Tyre Folding Electric Bike is built for riders who want one bike that handles everything - the daily commute, the weekend ride and the trip away in the van. Wide 20 inch Kenda fat tyres give it genuine stability and grip on tarmac, gravel, towpaths and light off-road trails, while the front suspension fork takes the sting out of potholes and rough surfaces.

Power comes from a Bafang rear hub motor working alongside Bafang's pedal assist system and a 4 inch TFT colour display, so your speed, battery level, assist mode and distance are all visible at a glance. The 36V 14Ah lithium battery gives plenty of range for daily commuting and longer weekend rides, and the supplied 2A charger keeps topping up simple. Shimano 7 speed gearing handles hills and flat cruising alike.

The folding frame is the reason many riders choose this bike. It packs down small enough for a car boot, caravan, motorhome or boat, which makes it a natural fit for campers, caravanners and anyone short on storage space at home. The adjustable seatpost and stem mean it suits a wide range of riders, and the steel frame keeps everything solid when the bike is folded and carried.

Samonix hydraulic disc brakes provide confident all-weather stopping power, and the bike arrives fully equipped with front and rear lights, an alloy rear carrier, steel mudguards, an integrated lock and a rain cover.
