But please note that under current UK law, Ampere bikes fitted with this throttle add-on option are illegal to use on public land. These are only to be used on private land with the landowner's permission.

As standard, all Ampere bikes are 90% built and fully inspected before dispatch. With standard delivery, you'll just need to fit the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, seat and battery.

While customer feedback confirms that the bike is easy to assemble, we can also take the hassle away with our Bike Build Service which completes 99% of the assembly for you.

The Ampere X-Trail 29" is suitable for riders 6ft – 6ft5 (183–196 cm).

The Ampere X-Trail 27.5" is suitable for riders 5ft5 – 6ft (165–183 cm).

If you are between sizes, we always recommend sizing down because a smaller bike can always be made larger (e.g. with a longer stem and/or seat post), but a larger bike can not be made smaller.
