The drivetrain and motor are well-matched for British riding conditions. Nine-speed Shimano CUES gears give you a wide range for hills and headwinds, and the 55 Nm Promovec rear hub motor delivers smooth, progressive assistance across five levels. The Danish-made IT3 battery sits neatly integrated into the frame and is available in two sizes - 374 Wh for lighter commuters or 504 Wh if you want extra range for longer days out. Both battery and motor come with generous warranties: five years and three years respectively.

Day-to-day practicality is sorted straight out of the box. The SUV X ships with mudguards, a rear rack, integrated Herrmann's lights front and rear, and a kickstand - none of the usual add-on costs that catch buyers out. The rear rack is also prepped for a child seat, making it a realistic family bike for school runs and errands. Kenda puncture-resistant tyres round things off nicely for anyone who needs to rely on the bike getting them to work on time.

Control and connectivity are handled by the Promovec Graphic Slim D700 display, which pairs via Bluetooth to the e-connect app for ride tracking and personalised settings. A walk-assist mode takes the effort out of pushing the bike up kerbs or through tight spaces - a small but genuinely useful feature for everyday urban use. Available in Oxblood, in both crossbar (SUV X) and step-through (SUV S) frames, in 45 cm and 52 cm sizes.
